Sunday 4th September

I had a proper diversion
on my way to the shops this morning
this cyclist appeared around the corner
followed by another
and then another
and another
and yet another!
It may have been a fun ride
or possibly a fundraiser
but there were hundreds of them
all shapes and sizes
and I don't just mean the bikes!
And I would have missed all this
if it hadn't been for the roadworks!
Who says there are no silver linings?
