I've been pulling up clover
for a few weeks now,
but I've never seen a root this long before -
it must be a cert for
the Guiness Book of Records!
It measures 21 inches straight down -
not a windy surface root like most of them -
and it took a lot of delicacy to extract it.
Maybe I'll have my trophy stuffed and mounted!
