Saturday 7th September
My folks deserted me this evening to go Stomping at the Savoy!! A dozen or so tables surrounded the dance floor while a thirty piece band played melodies from the twenties, thirties and forties. In between sampling the delights of a very superior menu, the revellers stomped to their hearts' delight till the early hours of the morning. Course, my pair missed their last train home, but there's always a price to pay!
