Friday 13th October

This is a collection of endings...
the end of the week,
the end of Summer,
- although the weather is remarkably mild
the mornings and evenings have that
unmistakeable Autumnal chill about them -
and these pictures of a sad pile of feathers
show the end of a pigeon,
while I am curious about
the end of a path blocked by a tree
that has collapsed to the ground.
