Sunday 12th November

The weather was perfect
for Remembrance Day -
a bit of a nip in the air
balanced by bright Autumn sunshine
so the walk to the War Memorial
was brisk and pleasant.
A large crowd filled the road
for the short simple service
which reminded us all that lives are sadly being lost
in conflicts all the time.
The troops of youngsters then marched off in style
led by stirring music from the Air Cadets Band.
