Tuesday 16th March

These aren't any old verges, you know -
they're council-mown verges, that's what!
Yup, the council has wheeled its mowers out of the shed,
given them a quick dusting,
and a squeeze or two of oil,
polished the blades with a piece of glasspaper
and sallied forth to cut the neighbourhood grass!
Which of course is a sure sign
that Spring is Here!!
Oh, yes, and I suppose those yellow things
may be giving a hint as well....
