Visited a garden centre
on my day off
and found an ornamental chicken...
nothing unusual about that, I hear you murmur.
Well, this one was alive and pecking,
and looked quite splendid in his feathered finery.
He also had a mate
who was free to saunter around the flower beds
occasionally finding a convenient place to compare notes!
