These photos of blossoming trees
were taken over a week ago -
in fact, the glorious May blossom has already faded
and looks drab and weary
in little more than seven days!
The magnolias are made of sterner stuff,
and still look fantastic.
I have been having problems with
my camera,
but I think it's sorted now.
The photos of the nettles are Wednesday's
when my eye was struck by the sudden emergence
of the mass of greenery beside the path
It's a striking feature all over the park
and is the true sign that
Spring has arrived!!
